Csak egy kutya?

Időről időre azt mondják nekem: Ébredj fel, ez „csak egy kutya”! – nem értik, miért teszi meg az ember ezeket az utakat, miért invesztál ilyen sok időt és érzést, vagy miért veri magát költségekbe, amelyek a „csak egy kutyá”-val járnak.

Legbüszkébb pillanataimból néhányat a „csak egy kutyának” köszönhetek. Sok óra telt el, amikor egyedüli társaságom „csak egy kutya” volt, de egyetlen pillanatig sem éreztem magamat mellőzve vagy egyedül.

Életem egyik legszomorúbb pillanatát a „csak egy kutya” idézte elő, és a sötét napokban a „csak egy kutya” volt az, akinek barátságos érintése jóleső érzéssel töltött el, és erőt adott átvészelni azt a napot.

Ha te is azt gondolod, hogy ez „csak egy kutya”, akkor feltehetően olyan mondatokat is ismersz, mint „csak egy barát”, „csak egy napfelkelte” vagy „csak egy ígéret”.

„Csak egy kutya” vesz rá arra, hogy korán keljek, hosszú sétákat tegyek, és vágyakozva tekintsek a jövőbe.

Ezért számomra és az olyan ember számára, amilyen én vagyok, ez nem „csak egy kutya”, hanem minden remény és jövőbeli álom megtestesítője, kedves emlékek és a jelen tiszta élvezete.

A „csak egy kutya” megmutatja bennem a jót, és eltereli a gondolataimat. Remélem, hogy mások is megértik egy napon, hogy ez nem „csak egy kutya”, hanem valami, ami nekem emberiességet kölcsönöz, és többé tesz, mint „csak egy ember”.
